Twenty designer ZAC Zac Posen handbags have been donated to Fashion Project to benefit The H.O.P.E. Foundation for a Better Tomorrow, a charity that helps at-risk youth across the nation with guidance and scholarships.

The collection is now up and available for purchase at: www.fashionproject.com

Additionally, The H.O.P.E. Foundation for a Better Tomorrow’s Executive Director Nicole DiCocco has put together her own high-end clothing drive, from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  She is encouraging fellow fashionistas to dig deep into their closets and give up their gently used items, like that DVF dress, Hermes scarf, or pair of Jimmy Choos for a great cause.  The end result will be that every design will have the opportunity to shine again while helping to change the lives of children across the country who participate in the foundation’s programs.

“Dressing well actually is a benefit and thanks to Fashion Project those items that don’t fit your lifestyle can do more than just make someone else look good.  Since more than half the proceeds from everything bought goes directly to charity, you can have a major impact through your original purchases,”  said DiCocco.

Individuals can go to www.fashionproject.com and request a postage-paid donation bag, fill it with items, and designate a beneficiary charity.  Donors can see a tally of how much they’ve raised on Fashion Project.

“Your closet can make a huge impact,” said Fashion Project chief executive Anna Palmer. Once sold, the donor will receive a tax receipt and if they donate more than 5 quality items and a $40 Nordstrom Gift Card.
