With closings underway and the building complete, the 92-unit building offers a range of one-to-four bedroom homes. With architecture designed by Beyer Blinder Belle, the building is a nod to the neighborhood, drawing on cues from its surroundings that include the robust, masonry buildings that used to be warehouses and printing factories. 70 Charlton‘s brick, metal and glass façade compliments its contemporary structure and anchors it to its environs. Special attention was paid to the large windows, which follow a balanced pattern down the towers. Beyer Blinder Belle is known for their work in site-sensitive and historical districts, and they brought this expertise to weave the design of 70 Charlton seamlessly into the neighborhood.
