Combining hip threads with classic furniture and a touch of British flare, TriBeCa’s Babesta designs a nursery fit for William and Kate’s baby boy.

With the birth of George Alexander Louis, the Prince of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first child, and third in line to the thrown, the world has royal baby fever. When you have royal parents who use social media, it’s only fitting to have a nursery that’s just as stylish.

Jennifer Cattaui, the owner of Babesta, puts together modern nurseries fit for a king every day. She assembled a nursery, combining fashionable threads with streamlined furniture and a touch of English flare. “We wanted to design a nursery that would suit William and Kate’s style sensibility while not being so traditional to make Uncle Harry and Aunt Pippa cringe.” Cattaui realizes the royals have just the same concerns as other new parents. “They want high quality, sustainable, practical and stylish, with a dose of whimsy and humor! Truth be told, we don’t see the baby toddling around in a Sex Pistol’s getup.”
