What: Westville

Where: East Village (173 Avenue A), West Village (210 W 10th St.), Chelsea (246 W 18th St.), and Tribeca (333 Hudson St.)

Cuisine: American

Keywords:  Cozy, No-Fuss, And Quality Comfort Foods.

Why do I love Westville? Two words: French Fries!  With four locations, the Westville chain has grown immensely from its humble beginnings on West 10th Street with its consistent and delicious American cuisine.  Vegetarian and meat-eaters alike can rejoice as Westville’s menu provides ample choices of farmer’s market vegetables, classic American meat staples (hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches), and yes, amazing French fries (slight crisp outside, tender inside, medium cut, and giant portions for just $1 extra on the side of a sandwich.)  The best time of day to visit is anytime! It’s always good!  Westville is guaranteed to be your go-to comfort spot– without the guilt.

Can’t-Miss Dishes:  Smoky Mac & Cheese (bacon optional), Corn on the Cob (lime, cumin butter & cotija cheese, Customizable Burgers (beef, cast-iron turkey, veggie) served on a Portugese Muffin with toppings galore, FRIES!  and the Farmers Market Special (Choose from four vegetable sides as an entrée.  It’s enough food, I guarantee it.)
