America’s favorite food combination: a burger, fries and shake just got a Downtown makeover. Slide, a brand new dining destination at 147 Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, is rolling out its own version of “American small-plate comfort food.”

The eatery specializes in deliciously mouthwatering sliders, richly decadent virgin and alcoholic shakes, and cream-stuffed cannolis created by Stuffed Artisan Cannoli company co-founder Anthony Fontana.

Chef Madison Cowan designed the menu.

The former “Iron Chef” winner, Madison Cowan, designed the menu at Greenwich Village’s new Slide Restaurant.

The menu, designed by Iron Chef champion Madison Cowan, features such delicious creations as a special fried chicken and cheddar waffle slider, a smoked duck slider (with duck-fat chips and blackberry chutney) and the classic slider, popularized by White Castle decades ago – and the beef slider, crafted with a secret meat blend and crowned with melted Manchego cheese.

Slide is the Brooklyn-based chef’s first Manhattan restaurant. The cozy ambiance and uniquely designed space features a rotating selection of modern works by local artists. Slide also offers garden dining – an 18-seat outdoor space – for guests in warmer months. As New York begins to show signs of spring, this Downtown dining destination is sure to be atop lists of the Village’s finest burger joints.
