It’s December, which means we’re officially gearing up for the Holidays! Decking our halls, drinking eggnog and hot cocoa, shopping for gifts. You name it, we’re probably doing it.

This weekend — on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. — The Rink at Brookfield Place partners with Proud Nation Inc and Battery Park City Authority to host “Stars United,” its grand scale opening ice show. While the Rink has been open for a few weeks already, this is an event you don’t want to miss. And it’s all open to the public to watch!

Behind the Rink are Gregory and Petukhov, who will be joined by fellow Olympians, Kimmie Meissner and Jeremy Abbott for an evening of skating performances, live music, and Cirque-style performing arts. The show will have excellent music in the form of artists Kristine W, Jason Walker, and Autumn Turner from The Voice, who will fire up the chilly crowd with special musical acts.

After the show — from 7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. — you’ll have the opportunity to skate with the stars yourself for just $30, which will include skate rentals. Now is the time to live out your ice princess or prince dreams. You can sign up right here.
