See Manhattan By Night From the Clipper City Tall Ship

Watch night fall over Manhattan from the vantage point of the largest sailboat in New York City! Happening daily now through Oct. 11, attendees can spend the night aboard the Clipper City Tall Ship for Twilight Sail.

Originally built as a cargo shooner prior to the Civl War, the Clipper City is 158 feet in length and has a height of 120 feet. It comfortably fits a total of 150 people and has a sweeping deck, full bar and a diverse sail plan to give guests a unique way to see Manhattan under the stars.

As the sun sets behind the Statue of Liberty, guests can enjoy a delicious drink from the bar for a romantic and fun evening. Not only do passengers get a dazzling view of the Statue of Liberty, but they also get to gaze at panoramic views of the Brooklyn Bridge and other New York City landmarks. The trip lasts two hours and departs at 7 p.m. through August 31, and departs at 6:30 p.m. starting in September. Prices range from $65 for seniors to $45 for adults, and $20 for children.

As the evening continues, guests who are in the mood for music can hang out on the adjacent benches and listen to the tunes coming from the speakers above the bar. Contrary, guests wishing for a quieter atmosphere can relax on the quarter deck at the rear of the ship which offers equally stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
