Most people you ask would love to help benefit their community or help a person in need, but they simply don’t have the time. Some might help plant trees, clean up a park or help build houses for the homeless while others would like to work at a soup kitchen or community food bank. Or perhaps some would like to help get clean water to those who need it while others would like to heal the sick or teach those in dire need of an education.

Well what if we said that you could help with all of these world issues with a simple purchase? New Yorkers, please say hello to Project 7.

Project 7 is a company that is dedicated to not only making tasteful gum and mints, but also to helping minimize many of the issues our world faces today. Project 7 started in 2008 when entrepreneur Tyler Merrick wanted to create a business to help other people. To Merrick, when it came to helping others through business, the answer was simple: make “products for good.”

“If people are going to buy things, lots of things, then let’s use those things they purchase to help change the world around us. Let’s make everyday products for everyday people to solve everyday problems around the globe,” said Merrick. And that is how Project 7 began.

Seven major problems the world faces today are: destruction of the Earth, homelessness, hunger, lack of clean water, sickness, education, and peace. To help minimize these problems people can buy any one, or all of, the seven gum mints that Project 7 has for sale. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to non–profits that Project 7 is partnered with.

There are six different flavors of gum (Birthday Cake, Coconut Lime, Fresh and Breezy, Front Porch Lemonade, Mint Julep, and Peppermint Vanilla) and one flavor of mint (Peppermint Vanilla). So help save the earth and support Project 7 today!
