Magnolia Bakery is expanding its delicious empire with a new line of artisanal chocolate.

The chocolate bars combine Magnolia’s handmade chocolate with some of their most famous baked goods.

The chocolate bars will be available in stores and online at magnoliabakery.com starting in September.

The bars will be priced at $5.25 each and come in six flavors.

Downtown Magazine’s taste test of these new treats left the office in debate over which was best- but we all agreed: Magnolia Bakery can do no wrong.

This fruity take on a classic was taste bud approved. We liked that the lemon wasn’t overpowering and blended perfectly with the dark chocolate and sea salt.

Banana Pudding

Based off of one of Magnolia’s most famous treats, this milk chocolate bar has a subtle hint of banana mixed with the crunch of a vanilla wafer. One Downtown editor compared it to the greatness that is Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey.

One of Magnolia’s best selling cupcake flavors is successfully infused into this dark chocolate bar with a cupcake texture, finished off with a yogurt coating to give it that cream cheese taste.

PB&J

Throwback to your grade school lunch-this bar features crispy peanut praline layered with tangy raspberry, all coated in dark chocolate. This tastes like the best PB&J you have ever had.

Sweet & Salty Bar

A milk chocolate lovers fantasy-this crunchy bar features peanuts, pretzels and toffee pieces, topped with a touch of sea salt.

This was an in house favorite for a lot of the Downtown– declaring it is maybe the best dark chocolate bar they have had. Plus dark chocolate is healthy, right?
