Midtown’s got a new necessary destination.
The Sanctuary Hotel has added an international flair to Haven Rooftop this holiday season with the recent opening of the new Ski Chalet on December 12th.
The transparently tented and heated rooftop lounge feature custom-built private chalets named after top ski destinations around the world, including Aspen, Courchevel and St. Moritz.
Guests can enjoy a personal fireplace and faux-furs to keep guests cozy and warm through the warm winter months. Snowflakes appear to dangle from the skies above plush velvet couches where patrons can view real snow falling nightly outside the tents courtesy of an hourly snow show.
Haven Rooftop’s dinner menu will include hearty Filet Mignon, succulent Lamb Chops, melt in your mouth Mediterranean Sea Bass and Seared Sesame Crusted Tuna. Those who wish to indulge their sweet tooth may choose from a delightful and decadent dessert menu that includes fondue and S¹mores, served tableside for guests to roast.
New signature holiday inspired cocktails will also be unveiled including Haven¹s Rice Pudding Martini (Rumchata, Malibu Rum, Makers Mark, Sprinkle of Cinnamon), and Apple Sauced (Stoli Apple, Cayrum, Apple Sauce, Simple Syrup & Caramel) in addition to hot drinks like the Spiker (³Hot Cider² Fireball, Stoli Apple, Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Orange) and Peppermint Cream (Baileys Irish Cream, Hot Chocolate, Crème de Cacao, Crème de Menthe, Whipped Crème and Candy Cane). The shot-ski will make its return to Haven Rooftop, allowing partygoers the ability to take shots together in a way only The Sanctuary Hotel¹s rooftop provides in the Big Apple.
Resident DJ Olivier Meiji has been flown in from Villa Romana in St. Tropez to bring an international soundtrack to Haven Rooftop nightly. Haven Rooftop¹s Ski Chalet opens at 4pm nightly at The Sanctuary Hotel located at 132 W. 47th Street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
