We at DOWNTOWN are big fans of men looking their best. The men who dress up not because they have to but because they want to. One of our favorite places in New York City to shop for suits is at Suit Supply, the company that is revitalizing the men’s fashion industry through their combination of quality, style, and convenience.

Each tailoring service caters to the customer’s specific needs and wants to ensure a quality purchase. The in-store option allows you to have your outfit ready to wear quickly and efficiently; most alterations can be made while you wait. For those with more specific needs, the company also provides blue line personal tailoring and suit up personal tailoring. These options allow customers to have more control over the fabric, color, and style of their suit.

The company also prides itself on providing clothing made from high-quality fabric sourced from Biella Province in Italy. Each meticulously-made jacket is designed to adapt to the customer’s shape and is lined with horsehair-reinforced cotton, giving the customer a fit that looks good and feels good.

For those too busy to even go to the store, the company has online shopping. Customers can order a complete suit and browse through accessories just while sitting at the desk. Some options include the Lazio blue check wool silk linen suit ($599 USD), the Lazio grey check pure wool suit ($469 USD), and the Havana light brown plain pure linen suit ($469 USD). The website also offers knitwear and shoes. However, online orders cannot be altered before shipping; the company advises online customers to stop by one of the stores to change the fit.

Suit Supply’s downtown store is located at 453 Broome St., or you can shop online at their website.
