The communal chant going around the city seems to be the desire for spring. We obsessively check the weather report to see if there’s any improvement in the coming weeks and get increasingly frustrated with the snow storm notices. Fear not though, spring and summer are on their way. The weather is set to start improving this week and the fashion industry has us dreaming of the summertime.
With the S/S 15 season in full swing, we finally got a full view of every spring/summer ad campaign. These year the inspiration seemed to be famous women: from Joan Didion covering Celine, Madonna covering Versace and Karlie Kloss and Iris Apfel painting a pretty picture in Kate Spade, strong women ranging from 18 to 84 stood their ground for some fantastic campaigns. The one thing all spring fashionad campaigns had in common was the overwhelming sense that, at long last, we can put our winter coats away for the season, and we are definitely ready for it.
