Lower Manhattan is going to the movies this summer with a new free outdoor screening event.

This Friday June 2, Westfield World Trade Center and Tribeca Enterprises will launch a new outdoor film series in Lower Manhattan that will take place outdoors by the beautiful Oculus Plaza, located at the corner of Church and Dey streets.

The movie showings will occur at dusk the first Friday and Saturday of each month between June and October. The event is free and open to the public.

Programmed by the Tribeca’s Film Festival‘s curators, the lineup will showcase 10 classic, fan-favorite films. Each film is set in New York, which makes the experience all the more special.

Food and beverages from Eataly will be available for purchase along with beer and wine from the local spots Beer Table and Pure Liquid.

Doors open at 5 p.m. each night, and the films screen at 7:30. The lineup is:

“Rent”: Friday, June 2

“Annie” (2014): Saturday, June 3

“Serendipity”: Friday, July 7

“Night at the Museum”: Saturday, July 8

“West Side Story”: Friday, August 4

“Ghostbusters” (2016): Saturday, August 5

“Breakfast at Tiffany’s”: Friday, September 1

“Enchanted”: Saturday, September 2

“Annie Hall”: Friday, October 6

“Spider-Man”: Saturday, October 7

This is the first ever Tribeca Drive-In: Dinner and a Movie right here in Lower Manhattan, so take advantage of this while taking in the beautiful downtown cityscape. The event is expected to be a hit for locals and visitors alike, adding value to the Lower Manhattan summertime experience.
