On Tuesday, July 20 Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar in the West Village will host a beer tap takeover with Beer Table owner and brew expert, Justin Philips. Philips will curate a series of tasting flights using offerings from local breweries, including Other Half and Transmitter, pairing them with complementary small plate menu items. The event commences at 5:00 p.m. and is pay as you go.

Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar was established in 2007, and has earned its status as a Zagat Rated Top Night Spot. Located just across the street from Blue Ribbon Bakery Kitchen, this intimate bar pours a selection of wines, sakes, cordials and cognacs that span the globe.

The kitchen offers small plates designed to enhance the sumptuous drinking experience such as bacon flatbread, artisanal cheese plates with Blue Ribbon’s own Autumn Honey, New Orleans Shrimp and smoked meats and fish – yum!

The Blue Ribbon Downing Street Bar is open seven days a week. For more information, patrons can follow Blue Ribbon on social media accounts such as Facebook and  Twitter, or you can visit their website.
