Did you know that drinking water at the right time of day can be beneficial for your health? We all know we are supposed to drink at least eight glasses of water every day, but what not everyone knows is when the best time in the day to drink it is. It’s time to change your habits and get healthier just by drinking water at the proper time and incorporating these 5 glasses of water to your daily life:

  • 2 glasses of water after waking up will help to hydrate your body and activate your internal organs. The water will help to remove any toxins before your first meal of the day. Brush your teeth, but don’t drink or eat anything for 15 minutes afterward.
  • 1 glass of water half an hour before eating helps to activate your digestion. Drinking water an hour after the meal allows the nutrients to be absorbed by your body.
  • 1 glass of water before taking a shower helps to lower your blood pressure.
  • 1 glass of water before going to bed can prevent heart attacks.

This simple routine can be easily applied by people who enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

In Japan, drinking water before waking up is very popular. Scientific evidence has proven the benefits of this ritual, and it is a powerful weapon against modern and ancient diseases alike. In Japanese culture, drinking water is widely believed to have healing powers to treat many common ailments and conditions including headaches, cardiac problems, arthritis, heart palpitations, weight problems, asthma, bronchitis, tuberculosis, meningitis, gastritis, diarrhea, diabetes, cancer, ear-aches, and sore throats.

Traditionally, Chinese and Japanese cultures drink hot water instead of cold water during their meals. Drinking cold water, or any cold drink after meals can solidify the food that has just been consumed which can weaken your digestion. It is always better to drink hot or room temperature water. Staying hydrated is a key element to balanced health, and hydrating properly throughout the day boosts the immune system and increases your overall lifespan.

Drinking water at the right time of day won’t make you live forever, but it just might make you live longer.
