The sign of a truly incredible restaurant is a delicious burger.  Tiny’s, located on West Broadway in Tribeca, has mastered the art of the burger, earning them the title of Best Burger Downtown.

Upon entering Tiny’s, you are greeted with delightfully dilapidated décor, nodding to the buliding’s opening in 1810, complete with exposed brick, weathered wood ceilings, and a cozy fireplace.  Their menu reflects their cozy, old school America vibe, boasting a wide selection of hearty, rustic dishes and American classics.

Tiny’s Burger plays on classic American flavors and elevates this classic dish with premium ingredients and attention to flavor.  The patty, the focal point of the burger, is made with premium dry aged beef.  Executive chef Paul Warthen recommends a medium cook on the burger for a succulent, juicy bite.  The burger is finished with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and their delicious secret sauce.

What really puts this burger over the top though are the fries.  “Our fries are a staple,” said Tiny’s Manager Frank Young.  Seasoned in Old Bay, Tiny’s thick cut fries are the perfect accompaniment to their delicious burger.

Tiny’s burger is only available on their brunch, lunch, and exclusive late night menu.  “People like to come in for a very late drink and a burger,” said Young.

Owner Matt Abramcyk opened Tiny’s in Tribeca four years ago and the restaurant feels right at home in the Downtown community.  “This is a very neighborhood centric, microcosmic New York.  It’s a lot of families, a lot of young kids, it’s kind of all over the place where everyone sort of gathers,” said Young.  Tiny’s embraces Downtown’s sense of community and family, acting as a gathering place.  “It’s a very communal based restaurant,” stated Young.

The Hudson River and Downtown nightlife top Tiny’s team’s list of favorites in regard to Downtown life.   “I really loved watching the Freedom Tower go up,” said Young.  “We saw that from conception all the way to the top.”

Executive Chef Warthen is new to Tiny’s and plans on infusing his unique culinary style into the menu, while remaining true to Tiny’s Americana style.  According to the Chef, he plans on making some changes to the burger, so be sure to get to Tiny’s and compare their original recipe to Chef Warthen’s new take.
