DataVision, an electronic store specializing in computers, networking and A/V, will be relocating after 21 years at its Midtown location of 5th Ave and East 39th Street. The store is heading to the Flatiron District, which is known for its electronic and toy retail. The new store will be located at 50 West 23rd Street, across the street from their competitors, P.C. Richard & Sons, and down the street from the soon to open Lego store on 200 5th Ave. This new location will have a 5,523 square foot showroom, much smaller than their other location. Despite the reduction in size, the space will sport a television wall, an Apple booth, a Galaxy Showroom, Sonos wireless experience stations, a variety of printers, monitors, cameras, tablets and more.

Along with their 5,523 square foot store and their basement full of stock, DataVision also has a distribution center on the west side and a large warehouse in Long Island City. These storage locations will prove useful for quick product pick up and delivery. DataVision also offers free, same day delivery of orders of $100 or more that are placed before 2 p.m within Manhattan. Smaller items will be delivered by courier and larger items will be delivered by truck, both straight from their distribution center.

With brands varying from Dyson, iRobot, HP, Apple, Samsung, Lenovo and Vizio, DataVision will have more than 150,000 products for customers to browse through. As well as the thousands of devices, DataVision will have an Ooma calling station which allows customers to call anywhere in the world for free and a Griffin charging station which lets customers charge their phones for free while they shop around.

As a computer-based store, DataVision offers in-store repairs for your computers and tablets. They can also upgrade your computer hardware, software, and even install your computer or network in your house or workspace. A majority of parts are held in the store so repairs will be quick and courteous, but any other parts can be ordered. Additionally, any computer ordered through DataVision can be configured to any specifications that you would need, such as more RAM, more storage, or a more powerful graphics card.

This week is DataVision’s grand opening, and they’ll be conducting daily raffles, celebrity guests, free giveaways, door buster deals and product demos. Head to their new Flatiron District home, and meet the CEO Jimmy Garson all week as he greets new customers. You won’t want to miss out!
