Tucked away discreetly in Nolita’s Little Italy is an eatery specializing in delicious and authentic pizza. Much like that district in which it is located, Cultura Pizza e Vita draws its inspiration from traditional Italian practices and flavors. Opened several months prior by Lorenzo Randisi, Cultura implements original techniques, reminiscent of culinary practices found in Italy. Diners can enjoy a variety of fresh ingredients along with delicious hand-stretched mozzarella, burrata and stracciatella. Some fan favorites include “The Porcini” with mozzarella, fresh porcini mushrooms, truffled porcini, basil and black truffle oil; and “The Zucca” with goat cheese, butternut squash, red onions and ricotta salata.

And, thanks to a new generation rotary stone hearth, double burner electrical oven, guests can enjoy their desired pizza flavors in minutes. This eliminates the toughest part of going out for pizza; the wait. Heating up to six pizzas at a time, the oven also employs sustainable, energy-saving technology so diners can also enjoy their pizza knowing that they are doing so in an energy-conscious fashion. So if you are looking for fail-safe delectable Italian experience among the variety of Nolita restaurants, keep an eye out for this petite pizza place located on 151 Mott St.
