Conrad NY Teams Up with Asphalt Green’s FIT KIDS FIT CITY Campaign

The Conrad New York and Asphalt Green‘s FIT KIDS FIT CITY Campaign have teamed up all this week for the Coins for Campers coin drive. The Conrad is one of Lower Manhattan’s most well known luxury hotels, will be donating $10,000 to put towards scholarships for children in the local community to attend Asphalt Green’s Summer Day Camp. On Friday, July 18 the Conrad will present their donation to Asphalt Green and over 200 summer campers on the final day of the coin drive at Asphalt Green in Battery Park City.

The FIT KIDS FIT CITY campaign will help over 30,000 New York children by giving them the opportunity to attend the summer day camp and participate in organized sports and fitness activities.

Maggy Siegel, Executive Director of Asphalt Green, said the organization is “tremendously grateful for the support of Conrad New York, which continues to be a terrific neighbor and important part of the Battery Park City community. Conrad’s generous donation to our FIT KIDS FIT CITY campaign allows us to make our summer day camp accessible to more kids through scholarships, and helps us provide more vital sports and fitness services to local youth.”
