Downtown trendsetters were in Midtown Friday night for Charlotte Ronson’s New York Fashion Week after party, which doubled as a preview of Tender Restaurant at The Sanctuary Hotel. Samantha Ronson spun for guests including model Morgan O’Connor, Bravo TV star Chanel Omari, Consuelo Vanderbilt Costin, actress Leesa Rowland, actor Jesse Metcalfe, Joe Jonas, Siva Kaneswaran from The Wanted and Mariska Hargitay at the restaurant designed by Josh Held and owned by hoteliers Brandon Freid and Hank Freid.
The coolest Fashion Week after-party took place in the soon-to-be-opened Tender Restaurant where 300 guests gathered. Voga sponsored the night, which was also a family affair for Charlotte who was joined by her parents Ann Dexter Jones and Mick Jones.
The Sanctuary on 47th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues has become a top destination for the A-List since it’s massive renovation in 2011. The sleek, modern and chic hotel lounge and soon-to-open Tender Restaurant provide a hip retreat in the white collar neighborhood surrounded by towering office buildings and just a half block from Times Square.
The Haven Rooftop Bar atop the hotel offers a unique Ski Chalet atmosphere as another great dining and recreational alternative. The transparently tented and heated rooftop lounge feature custom-built private chalets named after top ski destinations around the world, including Aspen, Courchevel and St. Moritz.
So join the bold names and declare Sanctuary at Midtown’s hottest new destination.
