Stunning Brazilian supermodel, Gisele Bündchen, strikes again. After covering a campaign with H&M and being the image for Les Beiges makeup by Chanel, Bündchen begins a new journey as the face of Chanel No. 5 fragrance.

The fragrance is considered to be the most recognizable and seductive scent launched by Coco Chanel. The brand’s popularity escalated when Marilyn Monroe mentioned, in an interview, that she used “five drops of Chanel No. 5” before going to bed. From there on out, a new fragrance empire blossomed to even larger proportions, securing the most famous A-list stars, including Brad Pitt (2012), Nicole Kidman (2004), and Cheryl Tiegs (1969), to represent the brand. Now, the empire has selected yet another A-list star to join their ranks.

According to WWD, Chanel chose Bündchen  for her “natural beauty and modern femininity”. Director Baz Luhrmann, who directed Nicole Kidman’s campaign in 2004, will direct the new ad campaign with Gisele. Supposedly Bündchen and Luhrmann were sighted in Sagaponack, New York, filming. The video ad will be shot in the Hamptons and New York City and is to be released by the end of this year. Hopefully, Gisele will receive more approval and popularity than the last campaign, which featured Brad Pitt and was criticized without end.
