Burger Inc is located in the Meatpacking District inside the Gansevoort Market. The burger joint has a small menu, choosing quality over quantity. Burger Inc isn’t your typical “fast food” joint, and gives our favorite foods a contemporary twist. If you like your burgers big and your fries loaded, you will love this place.
The Burgers
Burger Inc has three beef burgers: The Don, Burger Inc and $$$ Bacon. If there’s one thing we’ve learned in life, it’s that bacon on burgers is a necessity. For obligatory reasons the $$$ Bacon is our favorite: Angus beef cheeseburger, applewood smoked bacon and house sauce. The bacon is sweet and crispy, the burger is juicy and the spicy sauce gives every bite of the burger an extra kick. You know it’s going to be good a day when the bacon barely fits inside the brioche bun.
The Sides
The sides at Burger Inc are just as important as the burgers. It almost seems unfair to call these dishes sides, as it doesn’t do them nearly enough justice. You could go here and order just one side and still be full and satiated. Although you can never go wrong with bacon fries (because, well… bacon), the Crew is the real winner here: cheese fries with roast pork, chili pepper, thin sliced rib eye, applewood smoked bacon, fried egg and house sauce. After eating that you might want to rethink your favorite cheesy fries.
Last but not least, Burger Inc has given mac and cheese a little makeover with their dynamite mac: fried mac and cheese balls served with their spicy sauce. So bad, but so good. The macaroni cheese chili poppers are crispy on the outside and warm and creamy on the inside. The perfect combo! It’s the perfect comfort food on a rainy day. Or any day, for that matter.
