Comedian and actor Aziz Ansari came to the Union Square Barnes & Nobel on Tuesday, June 16 to sign his new book, Modern Romance. This book is his comedic take on romance in today’s world and how it has changed. This isn’t just a book of opinion, however. Ansari teamed up with NYU sociologist Eric Klinenberg to get real facts and figures about today’s dating experience.
After conducting research around the world and enlisting the help of other scientists, Ansari and Klinenberg created the witty social science book titled Modern Romance.
Readers may recognize Ansari from television shows such as Parks and Rec, Scrubs, Bob’s Burgers and other projects throughout the years. He is currently working on the Untitled Aziz Ansari Project, a comedy series that has not yet aired.
If you have an interest in today’s world of romance, or you’re a fan of Aziz Ansari’s comedic style, Modern Romance might be worth the read.
