This March, Hudson River Park Trust, the Brooklyn Museum are working together with Art Market Productions to bring a new kind of art fair, Art on Paper, to Tribeca. Art Market Productions are a Brooklyn based firm who have changed the way art is brought on to the social landscape by creating “a focused fair offering a medium as a conversational catalyst.”

Already having major success with other art fairs, such as Miami Project, Art Market San Francisco, and Market Art + Design in the Hamptons, they now come to the city at New York’s Pier 26 for a 3 day fair where dealers, artists, and curators can create exposure for the public to be exposed to highly talented modern and contemporary art. The focus of the fair “will feature work by artists who look to paper as a major influence in their sculpture, drawing, painting, and photography”. There will be 62 booths exhibiting art from 70 contributing art galleries available for viewing.

Art on Paper comes at a perfect time when Lower Manhattan is experiencing a cultural boom and is sure to be a success supporting the art world. In addition, working alongside with the Brooklyn Museum, the preview event will be benefiting the museum’s artistic and educational programs.

Tickets start at $25. $50 gets you in the opening night party and $150 gets you the fair, party, and the pre-party preview. The fair begins on March 6 thru 8, with the preview on the 5th.
