Downtown New York is an area in a state of constant growth and improvement. After the recent announcement of a new skyscraper being built in Tribeca, another building in Lower Manhattan has announced that it is about to be redesigned.

The Financial District building located at 99 Wall Street has long been a space for offices but apparently it is time for change. The current tenants lease has recently been terminated so that the building can be cleared for a new project.

The Claremont Group will be turning the 25 story, high-rise building into a residential condominium complex with 52.4 million dollars from Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers.

Details have yet to be released on the luxury condominiums that are being discussed for the building but DOWNTOWN will keep you updated as more information is revealed. We think you’ll want to pay attention closely as this may be the place to be for your next apartment!
