Recently, Downtown attended an intimate event at the Atlas Luxury Apartment rooftop on 38th street. The night launched new products of VENeffect—a recently established anti-aging skin care line formulated with 100% natural phytoestrogens.
VENeffect was founded by two sisters—Rebecca Booth, M.D., a distinguished gynecologist, and Cecil Booth, a skin care expert with upwards of 20 years of experience in the industry. The Booth sisters combined the knowledge they have acquired in their separate fields to launch a product line centralized around the Venus Week—the one week in every woman’s 28-day menstrual cycle that the body releases the most estrogen.
At the event, attendees were educated on how VENeffect products can help to prolong the natural benefits of the Venus Week, as well as on other lifestyle changes that can do the same. There was a selection of chocolate covered almonds and red wine to enjoy—both phytoestrogen-rich treats.
There was also a private yoga lesson and mini-facials were provided by licensed esthetician, Elizabeth Kennedy, featuring new VENeffect products. Kennedy was helpful in recommending what products were fit for different women at the event based on skin type and age.
