Located in the Financial District, the Thomas Heinz New York salon is a luxurious hidden gem that is staffed by fantastic, top of the line stylists specializing in editorial and celebrity work.

The new place is a 2,200 square foot space that is incredibly bright and inviting upon walking in. It features extremely modern work stations and decor which makes it especially unique as all the stations are mobile. The space also features a 600 square foot outdoor terrace, where guests and stylists can go relax surrounded by bamboo trees, giving it a feel that is entirely removed from the city chaos.
Owned by head stylist Thomas Heinz, Heinz has an impressive resume, working with several iconic designers, models, celebrities, and major beauty companies. He is one of the top hair colorists in the industry, and he brings his wealth of knowledge to the downtown area.
Lauren + Vanessa are a dynamic beauty team providing personalized hair and makeup services to fit all your beauty needs. Lauren specializes in hair color, and has worked with many high profile clients such as celebrities and models. Vanessa is a renowned hair and makeup stylist that has also worked with several high profile clients, as well as on runway shows and on red carpet events. The duo also have their own lipstick and lip gloss line, which they recently debuted.

DOWNTOWN had the opportunity to check out the new salon and receive a couple of their services at their welcoming party. Each member of the team were extremely friendly and welcoming upon entering the salon. I was fortunate enough to get my hair styled and trimmed by Vanessa, which came out fantastic!
But the pampering did not stop there, as I was treated to a manicure from Bethany Newell, a manicurist with A-List clientele who is offering her exclusive services at the salon. The manicure included a massage, a hot stone massage, and of course, some fabulous looking nails!
The salon is absolutely beautiful, and each member of the team takes pride in the work they do for their clients. Everyone was fantastic, and DOWNTOWN highly recommends that if you are in the downtown area looking for high-end luxury beauty services, look no further than the Thomas Heinz salon!
