New York City is known for its world-renowned museums and exhibits. We all love a good trip to the museum, but what if we told you that one is opening where you can eat the exhibits? I know we are exceptionally excited!

The Museum of Food and Drink is opening the first museum in New York City that encourages guests to eat the exhibits. The goal of MOFAD is to change the way people look at food on a daily basis. It aims to start the conversation about what we eat every day and why.

The museum will be a non-profit organization that hopes to become an international leader for in-depth education about food. Guests at the museum will be able to learn about the history, science, culture, production and commerce of food and drink through exhibits that encourage engagement.

Since many food companies and industries today produce their products behind closed-doors with little information released to the public, the museum hopes to educate guests so that they can make better decisions for themselves, their community and the environment.

Stop by and say hello to representatives from the Museum of Food and Drink at the Maker Faire at the New York Hall of Science on September 20th and 21st!
