The best part about summer? Fall is it’s successor. Granted, there’re still two months before it arrival, but we can’t help but dream of air laced with cool breezes, foliage, knits, that nostalgic feeling that reverberates throughout New York City, autumnal hues and now, an influx of seasonal beauty releases from our favorite cosmetic, hair and skincare brands.

Downtown has the exclusive look inside the best of beauty for the best season of all. Luxury brands have been launching new collections of cosmetics, skin and haircare products for the glorious autumnal months. We’ve compiled a list of September staples, October ‘omgs’ and November necessities to keep on your radar and soon, in your makeup bag.

Bobbi Brown- Greige Eyeshadow Palette: ($70) This new Greige collection is slated to release in September and out of the many products the collection introduces, this palette has got us ready for leaves to flood the streets rust. This palette is the collections center piece, and with good reason. With eight cool-toned shades, from pigments of grey to hues of taupe and soft brown, Bobbi Brown delivers a mix of matte and shimmer finishes. This palette is reminiscent of gloomy autumn evenings that we’re currently nostalgic about — grey clouds contrasted with brown piles of fallen leaves — each shade provides a fall-centric pigment for each eye look you create.

Lorac Cosmetics- Pro Matte Eyeshadow Palette: ($28) After a summer collection of bright pops of color, hot pinks and gold sun-kissed bronzers, the fall lineup is way more subdued. Keeping things simple and matte, (the way fall should be,) the Pro Matte palette has eight super velvety shades that increase intensity for that subtle, yet smoky fall smolder. If warm tones agree with your skin more than cool, you should put Lorac on your fall forecast shopping list. The pigments begin light, great for brow bones and inner corner highlights and shift in gradience to transitional mauve shades, then deep browns for warming up the crease and giving your eye some dimension.

Tarte: Energy Noir Clay Palette – ($38) Another eyeshadow palette? Yes. Each one offer something different and we love to give you options! This fall palette offers six eyeshadows, six are matte: a cool-toned lavender, a taupe, an off-white bone, a deep brown, a black and a deep purple. Two frosty shades: a sparkly grey and a glittery light brown. This palette takes it a step further with muted pink blush on the right and a frosty highlighter with pink undertones for your cheek and brow bones. The built in highlighter is the palette’s all-star because its insanely pigmented, and, with the stroke of your finger, the payoff is intense. Tarte also released a lash liner for fall and if you commonly find that your water and tight lines can’t hold a liner, this is the answer to all your problems. The hold is incredible and it glides on with one stroke!

Zoya- Focus and Flair: ($9 each) If nail polish should be one thing, it’s opaque. And you’ve got just that with Zoya’s new fall collection. Six bold shades on the deeper end of the color spectrum but each as glossy and standout as the next. The shades range from a true cobalt blue, (the color code may have actually been pulled from superman’s suit,) a deep plum — a fall staple. Also, a true chocolate brown, titled Desiree, and a grey-toned taupe, Charli, (the collections most fall-esque shade.) But of course, what is a new nail polish collection without a couple of genuine reds. While Janel is your standard true red, the line offers a shade titled Hannah, a bright cherry shade that’s sure to catch everyone’s attention. Zoya also offers 6 similar, but iridescent alternatives.

EVE LOM – Radiance Lift Cream: ($95) Stop with the tedious multi-product lineup before bed and simplify your nightly regimen with this one moisturizing cream. With an aroma of rose water, this scent is sure to leave you feeling like a flora queen. Perfect for transitioning into fall because this product hydrates your skin and, as its name suggests, your skin is left with a subtle, radiant glow. Just apply a layer in the morning before makeup application for smooth, luminescent skin, or apply it before bed after you’ve showered. Now that the temperatures are cooling outdoors, we’re raising the temperature indoors and within our showers. Hot water and dry heat strip skin of its moisture, so this cream is the perfect balance for the heat!

Smashbox BB Water SPF 30: ($42) After three long months of summer, our skin is crying for a little bit of hydration. It’s no doubt that we’ve stripped it of its moisture this season, so Smashbox created an innovative new bb cream. Available in 8 shades from fair to dark, this bb cream has a water based technology that hydrates your face and feels like water when applying, meaning it’ll blend easy. With a demi-matte finish, the coverage is buildable, starting light and sheer, but provides full coverage if needed. It’s oil and alcohol free so your skin won’t look slick or alternately, caked on or dried out. Praised for it’s ability to blur imperfections, this bb cream primes, preps and protects with SPF 30, making this perfect standalone or great for applying as a base for your foundation.
