Need a sweet something for your Valentine this weekend? These downtown sweetshops have something to please any sweet tooth:

Vosges Haut- Chocolate

This purple-clad chocolate boutique fuses their sweet creations with spices from all over the world. They also inspire you to “embrace your renegade heart” with sassy Valentines Day packages. With its irreverence and exotic flavors, a treat from Vosges is definitely a deviation from a standard box of chocolates.

Papabubble

This artisan candy space, located on Broome St., offers aesthetically pleasing homemade candies. Their colorful creations are perfect for making an eye-popping presentation and are a great gift for someone who may not be a chocolate lover.

Dylan’s Candy Bar

Having just recently opened a location in Union Square, urbanites can now take advantage of this sweet wonderland without traveling uptown. In terms of finding sweets that would make a great Valentines treat, its hard to go wrong here. They have everything thing from candy to chocolates to popcorn and ice cream.

Tea and Sympathy

This tiny shop on Greenwich Ave. primarily serves as a shop in which to have a proper high tea. But their space next door sells authentic British candy, tea and groceries. A few of their commodities would be a great gift for any anglophile in your life.

La Maison Du Chocolat

This Wall St. shop has delicious decadent chocolates ranging from truffles to elaborate sculptures, ideal for a valentine that you are looking to spoil.
