Downtown Manhattan is buzzing with fashion on our favorite runway: the street. DOWNTOWN will be highlighting a specific item or trend each week. We’ll show you the item and how some fabulous New York inhabitants have incorporated them into their look.
This week, we’re focusing on tennis shoes being worn outside of the gym. We loved the way these shoppers and site-seers took a sporty shoe and paired it with a skirt or an oversized sweater. The shoe completely transforms and becomes a chic accessory that we can’t live without.
