Spend Father’s Day weekend enjoying the summer weather and experiencing everything Brookfield Place has to offer during their Summer Sailstice and Bang on a Can Marathon events!

Starting on Saturday, June 20, the Offshore Sailing School will host a discounted sailing opportunity for $35 per person per hour, which includes the chance to sail by the Statue of Liberty. This is the downtown way to celebrate the Summer Sailstice, or the weekend before the Summer Solstice.

Also on Saturday, Brookfield Place is offering special promotions at both their Hudson Eats restaurants and luxury retail stores, including Father’s Day sales.

On Sunday, June 21, the annual Bang on a Can Marathon will take place at the Winter Garden at Brookfield. Artists at the event include Anna Clyne Julian Day, Lainie Fefferman, the Asphalt Orchestra, Crossfire Steel Orchestra Inc. and more.

Both marathon artists and guests of the event will be welcome to come and record music on the spot at the Found Sound Nation mobile recording studio.

A weekend of sailing and music is the perfect way to bond with your father. Make sure to spend some time downtown at Brookfield Place this weekend and have some outdoor fun!
