As a writer for DOWNTOWN Magazine, my goal is to entertain and educate our readers in the area of health and fitness. I continually search for the latest and greatest products to enhance your knowledge of these topics. I regularly contact vendors and introduce the uniqueness of our brand and audience. For the past month, I have made numerous attempts to contact one of the most recognized names in eyewear on the planet. Not once did they respond to my numerous calls or emails.

Last week, I decided to pursue their competitor and contacted Paul Craig, President and Co-Founder of Rudy Project of North America. Within three hours he responded to my email and later followed up with a phone call. Even more impressive was the fact that his call was not from his office but from Kona, Hawaii. He was at the 2014 Ironman World Championships and he found the time to respond. Our conversation was extremely productive and he thanked me for our interest in the Rudy Project. He then promised to introduce Devin Johnson, his Director of Public Relations. I received an email from Johnson within the hour and he also found time to call. He too was in Hawaii at the same event. For any company, large or small, customer relations are paramount.

Finding the time to reach out to DOWNTOWN Magazine at such an important event spoke volumes about the significance of relationships and customer satisfaction. Unprecedented customer service, visionary products, and technological innovations are what make this brand overshadow the competition. I am excited about the opportunity to introduce you to Rudy Project and its creations in the near future. These products will truly elevate your performance.
