Portlandia

Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen will serve up laughs…and recipes in “The Portlandia Cookbook.”

The hit IFC show Portlandia is set to release its own cookbook!

Stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, along with director and co-creator Jonathan Krisel have signed a deal with Clarkson Potter and are currently hard on work on The Portlandia Cookbook.

The book will serve up 50 recipes based around plot lines of the show, which is known for spoofing the yuppie, hipster and environmentalist trends popular in Portland, Oregon.

The sketches “We can pickle that!” “Colin the Chicken,” “Around the World in 80 Plates,” and “Tapas Ghetto” have offered hilarious commentaries on the city’s hyper-sensitive food trends and will be featured in the book.

Expect a tentative release of the cookbook for early 2015.   For more information, check out ifc.com/shows/portlandia
