Who doesn’t love great jewelry, especially when it comes in geometrical shapes and handcrafted stones? Yes, this line of jewelry exists, and we went uptown to Bloomingdale’s to check out just how amazing it is.

We are talking about the collection designed by Ona Chan and inspired by her children Claire and William. In fact, her many inspirations all come from her family and their travels. For example, her Dragon Collection was inspired by The Year of The Dragon. In Hong-Kong everyone eagerly welcomes the dragon which is known as a divine beast, deliverer of good fortune and master of authority. It is a year devoted to transformation and new opportunities. The collection gathers strength and inspiration from the Dragon’s fiery eyes, majestic lines and powerful presence, take for example the gold bracelet with dragon heads on both sides, or the cuffs that are simply chic!

The Ona Chan geometrical collection, Lattice, was inspired by a hike through the Himalayas along the “Tea Horse Trail.” They explored the magnificently preserved town of Lijiang, China, where diverse Chinese minorities have blended over time and influenced its architecture. Created in sterling silver, many pieces feature soft Blue Cat’s Eye, soothing Pink Cat’s Eye stones or Rutilated Glass with flecks of color. The leather and metal bracelets are both great choices for a clean look and the rings are all handcrafted.

Take a look at some of DOWNTOWN’s favorite pieces that will impress everybody around you!
