Get ready to get your Irish on, because NYC’s Annual Whiskey Walk is just around the corner!

In preparation for St. Patrick’s Day, Craft Hospitality’s annual event will be held on March 7 where guests can taste Ireland’s premium whiskeys at eight different downtown NYC bars.

Participants can also enjoy food at each of the bars while tasting the different selections of Irish whiskey. Whiskeys can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or with a soda mixer. Some of the whiskeys include Jameson, Jameson Black Bush, Bushmills and Powers Gold Label. The eight bars will all be in walking distance downtown, with things kicking off at Nevada Smiths. Other bars participating include: The Copper Still, Dempsey’s, Juke Bar, Mama’s Bar, Libation, Thunder Jacksons, and Shades of Green.

Tickets can still be purchased for the event, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit a local New York City nonprofit organization — FreeArts NYC — to help underprivileged children expand their minds in the creative arts. The ticket also gets you no cover for any of the venues. Designated drivers are also welcome and free, so the more people that come, the better!

Event check-in begins at 12pm at Nevada Smiths, where Whiskey Walkers will be able to pick up their tickets. Check-in runs until 3pm, so be sure to get there before 3 or else you will not be able to participate! The event will run all day, with it officially ending at 10pm.

Grab your tickets now, because this is an event you will not want to miss in downtown next weekend. DOWNTOWN’s own will be in attendance, so stay tuned for coverage of the event!
