New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital sponsors 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/ Walk

DSC_00622New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital sponsored the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run Walk and Community Day on Sunday 4/24. The team led a pre-race warmup and stretching session, ran and walked in the race and participated in the community day. Over 5,000 people were in attendance to support this important cause. All proceeds from the event went towards the 911 Memorial.

“Our hospital takes great pride in being an active part of the community,” stated NewYork-Presbyterian/ Lower Manhattan Hospital Director of Business Administration Marci Allen.”We were proud to be here on 9/11 and continue to be ready to serve the community.”

Downtown Magazine CEO/ Publisher was also in attendance to support the 5k runners/ walkers.

“It was such an honor to attend and show my support for our client New York-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital and the many companies and people who came out on this lovely spring day,” explained Capobianco. “This incredible city is stronger and better than ever but we must never forget! Get out, support our community and the 9/11 memorial.”
