Mic Asserting Success With Move To 1 World Trade

by | Apr 22, 2016 | Business, News

The city’s most prominent building, 1 World Trade, is gaining a new tenant this summer with media company Mic. This marks a massive move for the millennial-preferred news media outlet as it will nearly double the 19,000 square footage of office space it occupies at its current location, 325 Hudson Street. The new office space at 1 World Trade will provide the company with 36,000 square feet of space on a 10 ½ year lease, as per a recent article by the Commercial Observer.

With an estimated monthly audience of nearly 30 million people, a majority of who are under the age of 35, the move makes perfect sense for Mic as it undoubtedly seeks to continually grow its already successful brand.
