For dance  to evolve it needs to be two things. Revolutionary, and ground breaking. Gallim Dance group is just that.

A Brooklyn native dance group, Gallim Dance Company was created in 2007 by artistic director and founder Andrea Miller. It is a popular dance group who performs for an average of “15,000 audience members annually.”

They are a dance group that focuses their energy on the imagination.

As stated on their website, Gallim dance company’s mission is, “. . . to play inside the imagination, to find the juxtapositions of the mind and the body that resonate in the soul, to investigate our limitations and pleasures, and to realize the endless human capacity for inspiration.”

The company has performed all over the world including prestigious locations at the Vail International Dance Festival, the Theatre National de Chaillot in Paris, France; the Festspiele Ludwigshafen in Ludwigshafen, Germany and the Festival Tanztage in Linz, Austria.

Gallim is a very renowned group and according to The New York Times, the dance group is “excellent, inventive, impressive.”

The theme of their new piece will focus on “love, sex and domesticity.”

The dance group is set to perform at the Joyce theater December 3rd-6th 2015. For more information visit their website.
