Look Who’s Cooking at Fulton Stall Market

by | Apr 23, 2015 | Downtown Living, Downtown News, Family

Fulton Stall Market has a fun, foodie-approved activity for the whole family! The market is hosting “Look Who’s Cooking,” a cooking class by taught by award-winning children’s cooking instructors FamilyCook Productions. The class serves to teach children the basics of cooking, using kid-friendly tools and guidance. It also helps them learn about nutrition at a formative age so that they will become more conscious of what they eat when they are old enough to make their own meals. The class is also great for parents that need new, inspiring meals that they can make at home that their children can help prepare!

The classes begin Saturday, April 25 and are $10 per person, plus fees. In addition to the classes, families can also enjoy the Fulton Stall Market, open daily at the South Street Seaport. Local vendors at the market offer a wide variety of farm-fresh food and baked goods. Local restaurants and musicians also frequent the market space to promote their businesses and entertain the community. Families can attend the classes and then enjoy all of the locally produced food at the market. They can even pick ingredients up for more family cooking later!
