Just in time for Memorial Day, Fleet Week is coming to the city starting Monday, May 18. In its 27th year, thousands of military members from the U.S. Navy, Marines and Coast Guard will dock at our piers to participate in various events around New York.

For the full list of events going on around the city and at the piers, you can check that out here.

However, if you’re looking for some great deals, you may want to check out Brother Jimmy’s BBQ. They will be kicking things off with happy hour specials on Monday, serving $3 Bud/Bud Light drafts, PBR, Natty Lights, and frozen margaritas for service members in uniform at its four locations: West Side, Murray Hill, Union Square, and the Original (on 2nd Ave between 78/79th St).

In addition, on Wednesday, May 20, the United Service Organization (USO) Show Troupe will be performing at the Murray Hill location starting at 10 p.m. For each drink purchased that day, $1 will go towards supporting the USO, troops and their families. Each service member who shows up to any of the participating locations will also receive one free drink.

Make sure you stop by Brother Jimmy’s during Fleet Week for deals that you won’t want to miss. Also, be sure to check out all of the other great happenings going on next week.
