On Monday, July 28th, high-profile party-goers filed into NYY Steak for a night that was nothing short of legendary. The event celebrated DUJOUR Magazine’s newest edition, featuring cover model Chrissy Teigen.
The exclusive party began with a walk down the red carpet, where reporters and photographers waited to speak with the night’s stars: Chrissy Teigen, her heartthrob hubby John Legend, and publisher of DUJOUR Magazine, Jason Binn. Afterwards, attendees were directed upstairs for cocktails, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres. Delicacies included lobster, shrimp, steak, sliders, and bruschetta, among others. But above all, the highlight of cocktail hour was the champagne. Moët Ice impérial was the drink of choice, served straight from its unique, white bottle.
In the midst of this all, Chrissy Teigen and beau John Legend celebrated in a private balcony, set apart for special invites. DOWNTOWN had the opportunity to join the secluded celebration, where we snapped some pictures with the talented (and very sweet) John Legend himself. Teigen’s quirky sense of humor resonated through all her speeches and interviews; she was well deserving of the night’s honor.
