At the end of April this year, Gregory Harrington, international soloist and chamber musician, signed with classical management – Price Rubin & Partners. Toward the end of the summer, Harrington will be reappearing in the studio to record a new EP– 5-6 tracks for a planned release in 2016.

The returning process has been an in depth one at that – a two to three year lead in booking time for this event. The main focus overall will be for Harrington to engage as a concerto soloist with orchestras.

Harrington has toured and performed molding himself to be a very prestigious soloist in venues throughout the Americas, Asia and Europe. Within these venues includes Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Town Hall, and Merkin Hall in New York; Symphony Hall in Boston; the Oriental Arts Center, Shanghai; Benaroya Hall, Seattle; the South Bank Center, London; The Hugh Lane Gallery, the West Cork Chamber Music Festival and The National Concert Hall, Dublin.

Harrington has said that he is excited for the upcoming project.  Patrons can expect arrangements that Harrington has been playing over the years, including tracks from Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and Etta James “At Last,” to the works of Jimi Hendrix and Miles Davis; all set to the backing of piano, bass, and drums.

Harrington will start a residency at the Flatiron Lounge on Cornelia Street Café with Bill Lewis beginning on June 22 at 8:30 p.m.
