Hey foodies, are you always on the lookout for the next big thing?
Get of a taste Peter Anton’s art exhibition called “THE FOODHIST TEMPLE,” opening at the UNIX Gallery next Thursday. Anton is famous for his over-sized sculptures of different foods, which are realistic enough to stir anyone’s cravings. Through his work, he aims to show “the unattainable in life: ultimate satisfaction.” The sculptures are crafted by using manipulated materials, including resin,metal, wood, clay, and oil paints. This will be his first New York show in over 10 years, making it an event not to be missed.
The exhibition will be at the UNIX gallery from April 2 – May 9, 2015. It is located at 532 W 24th Street.
