Eddie Borgo Is Coming To Target

by | Jun 18, 2015 | Fashion

Target has done it again. The retail giant is partnering with jewelry designer Eddie Borgo to create a collection of jewelry, accessories and wall art, all of which are all customizable with studs, charms and totems.

Borgo’s collection varies from vegan leather zip packs to back packs available in prints, including marble and galactic. According to a Vogue exclusive on Target’s newest collaboration, shoppers can employ 3-D printing capabilities to create their own alphabet-based charms.

Borgo, a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund runner-up and award winner for 2011 CFDA Swarovski Award winner, joins Target’s impressive list of collaborators, which boast names like Altuzarra and Alexander McQueen to name a few.

The collection will be available in select Target stores and Target.com starting July 12.

For us, July can’t come sooner. However, for the time being, explore the designer’s namesake brand online and at retailers downtown.

The Eddie Borgo collection launched in 2008 as an American luxury brand, and has carved its place in the international jewelry landscape. Borgo’s line takes classicism on its edge. Inspired by the creativity and sculpture of modern architecture, Borgo crafts his pieces to the ultimate simplicity. Yet, the designer injects subtle details to create versatile, but unexpected pieces.

Here are some of Downtown’s picks from the designer’s Spring and Summer 2015 line. All photos are courtesy of eddieborgo.com.
