To mark the brand’s fifth anniversary, celebrated jewelry brand Dannijo has just launched its first collection of handbags.
The Dannijo Sisters
Dannijo is a New York-based label launched by two sisters, Jodie and Danielle Snyder, who have been profiled by DOWNTOWN Magazine. The pair grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and started making jewelry together as children. Eventually, both sisters ended up in New York with uncertain career paths, and decided to take the plunge into entrepeneurship. Together they have created an incredibly successful business; their designs are worn by celebrities such as Beyonce, fashion bloggers, and style-conscious women alike, and are available in such high-end stores as Bergdorf Goodman.
Lenox Clutch
Dannijo designs are easily recognizable for their unapologetic decadence; statement pieces- colorful chandelier earrings, chunky cuffs, and bold necklaces– are their signature. Surprisingly, their new line of handbags is refreshingly simple. The collection of two clutches, two cross-bodies, a tote, and a pouch is incredibly wearable, classic, and practical.
Lypton Bag
The bags are handmade in Italy and start around $500 and up. A standout of the collection is the “Lypton” bag, a crossbody that comes in a few colors. Check out the robin’s egg blue and the tan with metal bib details.
