Chanel has a few exciting tricks up its sleeve for the upcoming spring season! First up: the launch of their new limited edition Harmonie Levres lip palette. Named Arabesque, the palette is “inspired by the ethereal world of ballet.” Modeled in its signature chic black compact, the rosy colors can be worn separately for a mod nude lip look, or layered for a glossy, high-glam effect. The palette also comes with a small lip brush for easy application (say good bye to the days of using your fingers for touch ups!).

The colors have given us a newfound anticipation for spring. We recommend using the third or fourth shade — depending on your skin tone — as a part of your every day ‘no-makeup’ makeup routine. Try using a tinted moisturizer or light foundation to even the skin, and adding a sweep of mascara to lengthen and curl lashes. A light blush or highlighter stick will brighten the face. Complete the look with one of the shades from the Harmonie Levres compact.

New products aren’t all Chanel has in the works. The legendary Parisian beauty brand also recently opened its first sunglasses/makeup/fragrance boutique in none other than….. (drum roll, please!) Las Vegas, Nevada. Some elements of the store, such as the skincare consultation room, are modeled after founder Coco Chanel’s apartment, while others, like the 12-foot chandelier, the double-C nail polish wall, and the changing light box mirrors, were designed specifically for the space. Thank you, Chanel, for giving us another reason to want to hop on the next plane to LV!

As though this wasn’t enough good news, Chanel recently debuted their Rouge Coco lipstick collection. Influenced by “friends, artists, and lovers who inspired” Coco Chanel, the 29 new shades pack a hydrating punch that will definitely help us beat the dry winter blues. With Keira Knightly as a representative for the line, these lipsticks are a must have for all you Chanel fans out there (like us!).
