With any wardrobe, you can always create incredibly unique and stylish looks by adding simple accessories, like hats. Large, over the top hats were part of the trend for the spring shows at Fashion Week in New York. Here are some of our favorite 2015 spring hats:

1.) Trend: Floppy Hats

If you want to go for a more bohemian look, floppy hats are the way to go.  They are also extremely versatile, meaning you can wear them on the street, but also hit the beach. Designer Rebecca Minkoff stunned the runway with oversized floppy hats, ranging from nude to bright colors. Our pick similar to what was seen on the runway is this Eugenia Kim sunhat, which is priced at $415 on net-a-porter.com.

2.) Trend: Bucket Hats

Bucket hats are always a great option for the warmer months, especially for spring. This year’s trends presented a variety of different colors and unique styles. Designers Karen Walker and Elie Tahari presented girlish bucket hats for casual summer looks. Our pick is this beautiful Burberry Prorsum hat, priced at $375 at saks.com.

3.) Trend: Straw Hats

Straw hats are always a fun and casual accessory during the spring and summer. Donna Karan featured large, over the top hats for her spring collection. One of our favorites is this straw Panama hat by Lanvin priced at $595 at barneys.com.

4.) Trend: Caps in All Forms

Trendy and modern caps were a big trend from this year’s past runway show, and are expected to be on trend for this spring. Tommy Hilfiger put out police-inspired caps, with leather matching shimmery textures. This Gucci leather cap is priced at $695 at Bergdorf Goodman.

5.) Trend: Menswear-Inspired Hats

Menswear has been a huge trend all around in women’s wear, ranging from apparel to accessories. Hats are no different. This Saint Laurent Felter hat is available for pre-order at Saks.
